Rose Medical Center is the only center in Denver to offer this unique program. The EPC (Esophageal and Pelvic Floor) Clinic provides a variety of diagnostic testing within one center to help identify a number of potential conditions. Available testing includes:

  • 24 hour pH - evaluates acid reflux
  • 24 hour pH plus Impedance - measures acid and nonacid reflux, and bolus transit
  • Anal rectal ultrasound - evaluates anal sphincter muscles
  • Anorectal testing - evaluates rectal function
  • Biofeedback - retraining of pelvic floor muscles for fecal and urinary problems
  • Breath testing - evaluates bacterial overgrowth, fructose and lactose intolerance
  • Capusle endoscopy - evaluates the small bowel
  • Esophageal Manometry - evaluates esophageal motility
  • Esophageal Manometry plus Impedance - measures pressures and bolus transit
  • Pudendal nerve test - evaluates pudendal nerve function
  • Sponge myography- evaluates puborectalis muscle
