Gestational Diabetes Education
Gestational diabetes can be scary for any expectant mother. Because this condition can affect both mom and baby, it is especially important for patients to learn how to manage and control diabetes for the duration of the pregnancy. The Rose Diabetes Center can help. Our educators are knowledgeable about the special precautions expectant moms need to take, and are ready to work carefully with each patient to help her understand and control the condition.
Diabetes & Endocrine Specialists
An endocrinologist is a doctor who has received special training in the treatment of diseases that affect the body's glands. This doctor specializes in conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, hypertension, metabolic disorders and other conditions affecting the glands and hormone production.
A diabetes specialist is a physician, usually an endocrinologist, who specifically specializes in the diagnosis and management of diabetes.
