Joint Replacement and Spine Surgery Patient Guidebooks
Most patients arrive at the decision to have joint replacement or spine surgery after months—sometimes years—of pain and discomfort. Numerous steps, processes and questions follow such a decision and Rose knows that patients want to be as informed as possible both before and after the operation. We’ve found that well-informed patients feel more comfortable when they know what lies ahead, which can result in more success in recovery. That’s why we created the Patient Guidebooks for orthopedic or spine surgery.
These free downloadable guidebooks below are comprehensive guides to knee, hip or shoulder replacement or spine surgery at the Rose Orthopedic & Spine Center.
This book is an important part of patients’ preparation for and recovery from surgery. This includes a checklist at the front of the book that will help keep you organized to ensure all steps are completed prior to the surgery date. Following the checklist, each section is designed to help patients and their loved ones understand the process before, during and recovery after surgery.
If you and your surgeon have already decided to have surgery and you did not receive a copy of this guidebook at your surgeon’s office, feel free to download a copy below or contact our Orthopedic & Spine Center Patient Navigator at 303-320-2153 and we will get you a print copy.
We recommend that patients bring their guidebook to all surgeon and hospital appointments. Refer to it often and please ask questions! We are available to ensure all of your questions are answered and needs are met as you prepare for joint replacement or spine surgery.
